N Korean diplomat missing

Berlin - The German Foreign Ministry said yesterday a diplomat had gone missing from the North Korean diplomatic representation in Berlin, but could not confirm media reports he had defected to the United States. South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported earlier that the second secretary at the mission, Mr Kim Kyongpil (54) and his wife Kim Kim-sun (52) were seeking asylum in the US.
