A man in his 20s was killed when his car hit a pole in south Dublin last night.
The motorist was driving on the M11 at Shankill when the incident happened at 9pm.
He was taken to St Vincent's Hospital where he died a short time later.
A garda spokeswoman said no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
