Motorcyclist killed in Limerick crash

A 37-year-old man has died in a motorcycle crash in Co Limerick in the early hours of this morning.

A 37-year-old man has died in a motorcycle crash in Co Limerick in the early hours of this morning.

Gardaí at Castleconnell in Limerick are investigating the collision at Garraun, Lisnagry, Co. Limerick at approximately 1.15am.

Gardaí believe the crash happened when the man's motorcycle hit a kerb .

The man was taken to Limerick Regional Hospital where he was subsequently pronounced dead.

The road has now been re-opened following a technical examination.

Gardaí have called on anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them at Castleconnell on 061 377105.
