A mother and her teenage son have been arrested after gardaí found cocaine worth an estimated €500,000 in their west Dublin home…

A mother and her teenage son have been arrested after gardaí found cocaine worth an estimated €500,000 in their west Dublin home last night.

Detectives raided the house at Cremona Road, Ballyfermot yesterday evening and found the drugs in the attic of the house.

The woman (47) and her son (17) are being held under the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Ballyfermot Garda Station.

They can be held for up to seven days.
