Police today named four more victims of the Selby rail crash.
Their identities were uncovered as recovery teams continued clearing the tangled wreckage.
The victims are Mr Alan Frederick Ensor, (44) a civil engineering project manager from Horsfield Way, York, Mr Clive Gregory Vidgen, (39) a business manager from Garbutt Way, Bishopthorpe, York, Mr Barry Needham, (40) a freight logistics coordinator of Willow Bank, York, and Mr Steve Baldwin, a university professor, of York.
Accident investigators hoped the freight train's "black box" data recorder could provide vital clues to the tragedy which killed at least 10 passengers.
An interim report by the Health and Safety Executive into the crash was also said to be expected.
The names of six victims have been officially released.
They are: church warden Christopher Terry (30} of York; IT manager Mr Robert Shakespeare from Beverley, Yorkshire; GNER train-driver Mr John Weddle, from Throckley near Newcastle; buffet car chef Mr Paul Taylor from the Newcastle area; GNER customer operations leader Mr Raymond Robson (43) from Whitley Bay; and goods train-driver Mr Stephen Dunn (39) from Brayton in Selby.PA
