Three Tibetan monks who are spending this week making a mandala of the Buddha of Compassion at the Chester Beatty Library in Dublin Castle will continue until Sunday.

They hope the making of the mandala, a painstaking ritual in which each monk taps coloured marble through a copper tube on to a drawing six feet in diameter, will help the peace process in Ireland.
