Swedish international Johan Mjallby scored a last minute winner to give Celtic a 3-2 victory over Hibernian today.

Celtic are six points behind leaders Rangers who beat Livingston 2-1.

John Hartson had put Celtic ahead in the first minute and he doubled that lead in the 23rd minute.

But Tom McManus struck twice to level the scores before Swedish international Mjallby rose to head in Alan Thompson's corner as the seconds ticked away.

The victory maintained Celtic's chances of closing the gap on Rangers to three points providing they win their game in hand.

Rangers beat Livingston 2-1 away with early goals from Lorenzo Amoruso and Georgian international Shota Arveladze.

Livingston had Rolando Zarate's second half penalty saved by Stefan Klos and Eugene Dadi's injury-time strike was too little too late.
