The body of a Co Westmeath woman missing for three months has been found in a neighbour's back garden.

The body of a Co Westmeath woman missing for three months has been found in a neighbour's back garden.

Rose Healy (59) of Willow Brook, Mullingar, was last seen at her home in early December and was reported missing last month.

Her body was found yesterday afternoon by a neighbour behind a rockery.

The Assistant State Pathologist Dr Michael Curtis carried out a post-mortem, but the results have not yet been released.

Foul play is not suspected.
