A bicycle stolen from the new Dublinbikes rental scheme has been recovered, Dublin City Council has said.
The bike, which was the first to be stolen under the scheme, was taken while locked to a lamp post over the weekend.
The bike was located in a damaged condition and is currently being repaired.
A further two bikes which were said to be missing, having not been returned by the people who hired them, have been returned, the council spokesman said.

The two missing bikes had been hired on a 72-hour ticket but were not returned within the required timeframe. As a result, the users lost the €150 guarantee they had deposited to secure the bike rental.
