Kenny Miller and Darren Fletcher have been recalled by coach Berti Vogts to the Scotland squad for next week's Euro 2004 Group Five qualifier against Lithuania.
Scotland must win the match on October 11th to have a chance of going into the play-offs and their 51,000-capacity Hampden Park stadium has already sold out - for the first time in four years.
Vogts's side are third in their group with 11 points, behind second-placed Iceland, on 13 points, and leaders Germany, who have 15 points.
"The atmosphere in recent matches has been superb, and there is no doubt that people really enjoy coming to Hampden to watch Scotland play, and want to be part of another memorable occasion," said a Scottish FA spokesman.
Miller, who returned to action with English premier league side Wolverhampton Wanderers last week after a lengthy lay-off, will give added punch to the Scotland attack.
Manchester United youngster Fletcher could be in line for his second cap after the midfielder made his debut in a friendly against Norway in Oslo in August.
