Masters champion Phil Mickelson shot a blistering 11-under-par 60 to grab a share of the second- round clubhouse lead at the Phoenix Open in Scottsdale, Arizona yesterday.

The left-hander, who made six bogeys in his opening round, grabbed nine birdies and an eagle to leap 39 places up the leaderboard and share the lead with South Korea's Kevin Na, who shot a six-under 65, on nine-under-par 133.

German Bernhard Langer, Europe's victorious Ryder Cup captain, is third, three strokes back after shooting a five-under 66. Overnight leader Dudley Hart was one over through six holes.
