The Sinn Fein TD, Mr Caoimhghin O Caolain, has criticised the Budget for failing to tackle inequality and being only of benefit to the rich. Mr O Caolain said the increases in social welfare payments were "meagre" and the disadvantaged had been "robbed of the potential benefit to them of the Celtic Tiger".
