BOSTON - Mr McGeorge Bundy, a top aide to Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson and an architect of US policy in Vietnam, died yesterday of a heart attack. He was 77.
A Republican who supported President Eisenhower in 1952 and 1956, Mr Bundy was appointed Special Assistant on National Security by his Democratic successor, President Kennedy in 1961. He continued in that position under President
Johnson until 1966.
