GAA:Kildare manager Kieran McGeeney will stay in charge of the senior footballers for a sixth season, the county board has confirmed.

He and selector Niall Carew are to remain on the Lilywhites management ticket, but John Rafferty's position with the senior set-up will be taken by Castledermot’s former intercounty star Damien Hendy.

A fourth selector will ne named in due course, according to the county board.

McGeeney and Carew will also be responsible for the county’s under-21 panel, while the minor football management team will be revealed at a later date.
