BRUSSELS: MEPs have praised Mr Charlie McCreevy's vision of the future of the EU's single market, describing him as "fluent and relaxed . . . with a refreshing and engaging sense of humour".
In a letter to the President of the European Parliament, the committees on the Internal Market and Economic and Monetary Affairs said they believed Mr McCreevy was a suitable appointment as Internal Market Commissioner.
