With the return of former number one goalkeeper Pascal McConnell the only change to the Tyrone side ahead of the Sunday’s All-Ireland football quarter-final against Kildare at Croke Park, the champions look as formidable as ever.

McConnell replaces John Devine between the posts after the latter dislocated his shoulder in training this week and was ruled out for the remainder of the championship.

With Enda McGinley (hamstring) still out injured, Seán Cavanagh resumes his midfield partnership with Kevin Hughes, while captain Brian Dooher wears the number 10 shirt and has Tommy McGuigan and Joe McMahon for company in the half forward line.

Stephen O’Neill, Martin Penrose and Owen Mulligan spearhead the attack, as they did against Antrim in the Ulster final.

Kildare manager Kieran McGeeney has delayed naming his team until tomorrow evening in the hope that Eamonn Callaghan might prove his fitness, having suffered from a groin strain over the last few weeks.

Limerick manager Mickey Ned O'Sullivan has named the same starting team that lined out in the Munster final defeat to Cork for Saturday’s deferred round four qualifier against Meath in Portlaoise.

LIMERICK (SF v Meath):S Kiely; J McCarthy, S Gallagher, M O'Riordan; S Lavin, S Lucey, P Ranahan; J O'Donovan, J Galvin; P Browne, C Joyce-Power, S Buckley; G Collins, S Kelly, I Ryan.

TYRONE (SF v Kildare):P McConnell; PJ Quinn, Justin McMahon, R McMenamin; D Harte, C Gormley, P Jordan; K Hughes, S Cavanagh; B Dooher, T McGuigan, Joe McMahon; M Penrose, S O'Neill, O Mulligan.
