Gardaí are investigating an armed raid on Elm Park Golf Club in Donnybrook early this morning.
An employee who was locking up was forced to open the club house before he was locked in a store room by three masked and armed men at about 1 a.m.
He was not injured during the raid but was locked up until he was discovered at 6.30 a.m.
"It is not known what was stolen in the raid at this point," a Garda spokesman said.
