Manila - A Philippines court yesterday struck down a $150 million settlement due to go to thousands of victims of the martial law regime of the late dictator, Ferdinand Marcos.

A representative of the 9,539 victims of human rights abuse during the late president's 20-year rule denounced the court ruling, while the government said it would appeal.
