Lucknow - Dozens of people, many of them religious pilgrims, were feared dead yesterday after a landslide struck a village in northern India.
"One hundred and seventy-seven people, including 60 Hindu pilgrims on their way to the Kailash Mansarovar shrine (in western China) are missing. Many of them are feared dead," said Mr Naresh Dayal, principal secretary in the Uttar Pradesh government.
