A man was shot in the knee at a house at Donaghmore Crescent, Tallaght, early today by three men wearing balaclavas and armed with a shotgun and a handgun. The man, who has not been named, was taken to St. James's Hospital. His injuries are said not to be life threatening. Gardai said no motive had been established for the shooting.
