Madrid - A Spanish man turned himself in to police in the eastern city of Valencia after the lynching of a truck driver who had run over and killed the man's 22-month-old son, officials said.

Mr Jose Munoz surrendered on Sunday afternoon just as his son was being buried. He was detained by police, who said they were still investigating the case. Mr Munoz is suspected of leading the group of people that stabbed and beat to death Antonio Civantos (44) - the truck driver who ran over Mr Munoz's son on Friday evening.
