Man suffers collapsed lung in Belfast attack

A Canadian man suffered a broken jaw and a collapsed lung after was attacked by four men in Belfast last night.

A Canadian man suffered a broken jaw and a collapsed lung after was attacked by four men in Belfast last night.

The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was also left with a severe facial injuries following the attack on the Ravenhill Road close to the Short Strand district, east Belfast.

Police only disclosed details of the attack, which happened early on Sunday morning, last night.

It is understood the victim has been living and working in the city for some time.
