A man was shot dead last night in a bar in Magherafelt, Co Derry.
The shooting happened in the Depot bar on the town's Union Road shortly after 11 p.m. Police say the victim, believed to be in his 20s, was in the bar when he was approached by two gunmen who shot him several times.
Detectives and forensic experts were at the crime scene last night, but an RUC spokesman said investigations were at too early a stage for him to comment on the motive for the killing.
