A man is in intensive care in hospital this morning following a shooting in Waterford city last night.
The 26-year-old man was shot at least once in a house in Clonard Park on the Ballybeg Estate shortly after midnight.
He is being treated at Waterford Regional Hospital, where his condition is described as serious but stable.
There were no arrests and gardai are investigating.
