A man is seriously ill in hospital after he was attacked in a house in County Down last night.
The man was dragged into the house in Ashfield Drive, in Donaghadee, where he was beaten and stabbed.
It is understood that up to six men participated in the attack.
Police in Newtonards have taken two men into custody and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
