Police in Northern Ireland are investigating the find of a man's body in a river near a motorway bridge near Belfast.

Police in Northern Ireland are investigating the find of a man's body in a river near a motorway bridge near Belfast.

A Police Service of Northern Ireland spokesman said the man's body was recovered from the River Lagan, near the Athnalock Bridge.

The bridge carries the M1 motorway across the river.

He said the man had not yet been identified.
