A man whose badly burnt body was discovered in a house in Cork city yesterday is believed to have suffered a heartattack and collapsed on top of a two-bar electric heater.

The body of the 63-year-old man, who lived alone, was found when neighbours raised the alarm after noticing smoke damage to his house at Bellevue Crescent, Old Youghal Road. Gardai were last night trying to notify relatives of the man.
