An Englishman in his early 20s was taken from the sea at Dublin Bay after he fell overboard last night from the Irish Ferries high-speed vessel, the Johnathan Swift. The man was spotted in the water by a P&O ferry, the European Envoy, and taken ashore by the Dun Laoghaire lifeboat at 10.40 p.m. He was taken to St Michael's Hospital where his condition was said to be stable late last night.
