A South African national charged with importing £50,000 worth of herbal cannabis at Shannon airport on September 6th was yesterday remanded in custody to reappear before Ennis District Court on October 27th. Mr Stefanus Myburgh (40), from Johannesburg, was arrested at Shannon airport after customs officials discovered 22.7 kg of the drug in his luggage.
