A man questioned by detectives investigating the murder of a man in a pub on Dublin's Francis Street on Sunday night has been released without charge.

James Curran (42) was shot in the head at the Green Lizard at around 10.15pm. It is believed the gunman was drinking in the pub for up to 90 minutes before the attack while 30 customers watched a karaoke session.

A file has been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
