Gardaí investigating a hit-and-run incident in Co Longford yesterday are this morning questioning a man.
He is being questioned at Longford Garda Station about the incident in Kenagh at 2.45 a.m. yesterday.
Eamonn Hoey (64), from Moydoo, Co Longford died at the scene after been struck by what was described as a small white car.
