A man has been arrested following a gun attack on a house in North Belfast today.
A shot from what is believed to have been a shotgun was fired through a glass pane in the front door of a house at Silverstream Avenue shortly after 4am.
The occupants of the house escaped injury in the attack.
A short time later more shots were fired nearby in Silverstream Road. Police on duty in the area arrested a man and recovered a shotgun.
