Man questioned after fatal Tallaght stabbing

A 23-year-old man was killed in a stabbing in Tallaght, West Dublin this morning.

A 23-year-old man was killed in a stabbing in Tallaght, West Dublin this morning.

The victim, Christopher Farrell, was pronounced dead on arrival at Tallaght General Hospital.

A 26-year-old man was arrested this morning in connection with the incident at Cloonmore Park and is still being questioned by gardaí.

He is being held under Section Four of the Criminal Justice Act, and can be held for up to 12 hours before being charged or released.
