A man who was shot by an undercover soldier after a bomb attack on an RUC station was refused bail in the High Court in Belfast yesterday.
Mr Gareth Doris (19), from Meenagh Park, Coalisland, Co Tyrone, is charged with causing the explosion at the local police station last March and attempting to murder security forces. Mr Doris, who was wounded in the stomach, was initially remanded in custody at a special court held in Belfast City Hospital. He has now recovered and is detained in prison.
Bail was refused by the Lord Chief Justice, Sir Robert Carswell.
