A crash in Co Cork has killed a man (32) and injured two others.

A crash in Co Cork has killed a man (32) and injured two others.

The victim, named as Darragh Farrell, of Woodhill Villas, Tivoli, Co Cork, was the driver of a car that hit a wall at Skew Bridge on the Lower Glanmire Road at 3.10am today.

Two passengers in the car, a man and a woman, were taken to Cork University hospital to be treated for their injuries. Both are said to be in a stable condition.

Mr Farrell is the 306th person to die on the State's roads so far this year.
