Man killed in three-car crash in Meath

A man in his 40s was killed in a collision between two cars and a van in Co Meath today.

A man in his 40s was killed in a collision between two cars and a van in Co Meath today.

The three-vehicle crash happened at 10.30am on the N2 south of Ashbourne, at the Whitetree Lane Junction.

Gardai at Ashbourne said the male driver of a car was killed.

A female driver of a second car was taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital in Blanchardstown in Dublin, where she was treated for shock.

The other people involved in the crash were not injured. The dead man has not been formally identified yet.
