One man was killed and another injured yesterday when the car in which they were travelling left the road and crashed through a fence in Co Mayo.
The accident happened at Ballyvary, Castlebar, at 6.35 p.m. The dead man, who has not been named, was aged 55.
The other man, who was being treated in hospital for minor injuries, is 51. No other vehicle was involved.
