Man killed in Limerick crash

A man was killed in a single-car road crash in Co Limerick last evening.

A man was killed in a single-car road crash in Co Limerick last evening.

The 24-year-old driver died after his car collided with a wall about 6km outside Abbeyfeale on the R515 at 4pm.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was taken to Limerick regional hospital. There were no passengers in the car.

The road has been examined by forensic collision investigators and has reopened.

Gardai have appealed for witnesses to contact Abbeyfeale Garda station on 068 30010.
