A 21-year-old man was killed early today in a single-car crash in Co Wicklow.
The man was a passenger in the car when the collision occurred around 6 a.m. today. He was brought by ambulance to Naas General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the car was brought to hospital but his condition is not described as serious.
In a separate development, the 74-year-old pedestrian who died following a collision with aLorry in Castleblaney yesterday has been named as Peter Shevlin of Castleblaney, Co. Monaghan.
