A man was killed this morning when the car he was driving crashed outside Tralee in Co Kerry.
The crash took place at 6.20am at Caherslee on the Ardfert to Tralee road.
A passenger in the car was injured. Both were taken to Kerry Regional Hospital.
The scene have been preserved for technical examination. The road is closed and diversions are in place.
