The PSNI are investigating the death of a 24 year old man who died following a hit and run incident outside his north Belfast home last night.

The man, named as Rossa Quigley, was hit by a blue Vauxhall Cavalier on the Cliftonville Road at 10pm last night, close to its junction with Rosapenna Drive.

The PSNI later examined a car found abandoned in the City Cemetery area.
