A man is recovering in hospital today after he was stabbed several times in Tallaght.
The attack happened in the Old Bawn area at 2.50 a.m.
The 20-year-old was taken to Tallaght Hospital, where his condition is reported to be stable.
Meanwhile the Gardai in Mountjoy are continuing to question the 22-year-old man who was arrested in connection with yesterday's stabbing incident at St Josephs, in which a Lithuanian national was killed.
The man was arrested in Mullingar, Co Westmeath and is being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
