A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital last night suffering gunshot wounds to both hands after a paramilitary-style shooting in west Belfast.

The man was taken from a house on Gort na Mona Way and taken to West Hill Way where he was shot in both hands.

The incident at around 11:30 last night.

Police at Grosvenor Road are investigating and are appealing for any information.
