A man in his sixties is recovering in a Dublin hospital following a shooting in the city last night.
The man is understood to have been drinking in a pub in Inchicore when a gunman entered the premises and shot the man. The gunman then fled the pub.
The victim was brought to St James Hospital and is under Garda protection. His condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
