A 37-year-old man was recovering in hospital in Limerick yesterday after he received a fractured skull in an attack at the weekend.

The incident happened at 4.30 a.m. on Sunday outside the Savoy Apartments on Henry Street. Two men in their 20s were arrested and were released without charge. A file is being prepared for the DPP.
