Man hurt in Antrim paramilitary-style shooting

Police are investigating a paramilitary-style shooting in Co Antrim in which a man (42) was shot in both legs last night.

Police are investigating a paramilitary-style shooting in Co Antrim in which a man (42) was shot in both legs last night.

The attack happened in Carnmoney when the man was attacked by four armed and masked men at around 10.15pm while walking in Queen's Crescent.

He was dragged some distance and was then shot in each calf. The injured man was able to make his way to a nearby house where the alarm was raised.

His condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
