A man was arrested today after the discovery of a body in a south Belfast apartment.

A man was arrested today after the discovery of a body in a south Belfast apartment.

The death of a 38-year-old man at St John's Close was being treated as suspicious, said a police spokesman.

A post mortem examination was due to be carried out later to establish the cause of death.

The arrest was made within hours of the body being discovered.

The dead man has not yet been named.
