A man who was arrested after the suspicious death of another man in Belfast at the weekend was released without charge yesterday.

Police are investigating reports that the dead man, aged 40, was involved in a row shortly before his death. However, after a post-mortem examination police said they were not treating it as a murder investigation. The man died in his home at Benburb Street in the Donegall Road area of south Belfast at around 9.30 p.m. on Saturday.

Detectives at Musgrave Street Station appealed to anyone in the Benburb Street/Lecale Street area on Saturday between 8.30 p.m. and 9.30.p.m. to contact them.
