A man is being questioned about the seizure in Co Dublin of cannabis resin valued at an estimated €500,000. His car was stopped and searched by gardaí in Swords on Saturday afternoon.
The suspect was arrested at the scene when the drugs were found and was taken for questioning to Swords Garda station. The suspect, who is in his 20s, is being held under section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act. He can be held for up to seven days without charge.
