A 26-year-old man who has pleaded guilty to harassing Glenda Gilson and her family, will be sentenced in October by Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.
Daniel Rooney, of Castleknock Cottages, Castleknock, pleaded guilty to harassment of the Gilson family by persistently communicating with Glenda Gilson, Noel Gilson and Aileen Gilson by means including e-mail and telephone in Dublin between November 12th, 2004 and March 21st, 2005. Rooney was remanded on continuing bail.
Paul Carroll, prosecuting, indicated that a mention date was required in relation to Rooney next month to allow the Director of Public Prosecutions to consider whether or not a plea would be required to a further charge on the indictment.
